Hi I’m LaQuitta and I own and operated Terrell Tax & Planning, a Bookkeeping, Tax Preparation and Billing services company located near downtown HOTlanta and founder of Our Taxes is Our Business, Inc. a Nonprofit organization, assisting teens and young adults to become successful entrepreneurs.
I became an entrepreneur four years ago, after being drained and overly frustrated with the rat race of corporate America. I didn’t know at that time corporations would be as unstable as they are today but let’s just say after dealing with a borderline psycho manager and mid evil VP of operations, I know as far as I was concerned things couldn’t continue as they were.
SO I set out to control my own future and finances.

Terrell Tax and Planning, LLC ( TT&P for short) begin from very humble beginnings, believe me after being a Tax Analyst for 12 years, preparing financial statements and various tax returns for small businesses as well as Fortune 500 companies, I was full of knowledge and experience and ready to share it with the world. We specialize in assisting entrepreneurs, contract professionals, small business owners and small to mid-size corporations with maintaining their financial house.

After taking many classes, seminars and workshops on being in business the one thing that is often repeated time after time if giving back. Our taxes is Our Business is a non-profit I founded to assist individuals in accomplishing and succeeding in entrepreneurship. Atlanta is one of few states that people can dream an idea one night and the next be in business, sometimes with little to no start up money. But to stay in business, legally one must abide by the rules and laws of the federal and state government, this small step is often missed and have been the demise of many great visions. We go to schools, (with a teen entrepreneur center), businesses and non-profit organization to provide tax and bookkeeping seminars, These workshops provide knowledge and build confidence in these areas for entrepreneurs to know what they are responsible for and how to go about getting their financial records in order.
The idea of blogging came from my passion of forever educating myself, I took a 14 week entrepreneur workshop that taught us business from the beginning to end and one of the marketing pieces was blogging, getting your business to the masses by building a community that you could be of assistance to.
So here I am, entrepreneur, business owner, author and blogger!!
The road is often bumpy but the ride is truly amazing. Come on the journey of a serial entrepreneur, small business owner and Hot, Single 30-something ATL chic trying to make it all happen….
